This PCMCIA card reader-writer, using R5C476II PCMCIA CardBus controller chipset, works with Microsoft Windows 98SE /ME /2000 /XP /Vista operating systems. Windows XP and Vista will detect this card reader and install the Windows built-in driver automatically. A disk containing the driver for Windows 98SE/ ME/ 2000 is provided in the package.For customers who live in an area without wired high speed broadband connection, this PCD-RP-202CS PCMCIA CardBus Card Drives allows you to use a laptop wireless PC card on your desktop computer for wireless mobile broadband connection internet access. This PCMCIA CardBus PC Card Reader supports all Type I, Type II, & Type III 16-bit PC cards (such as ATA flash memory, hard drives, linear flash, SRAM, wired & wireless ethernet network/LAN and modem cards, etc.) and 32-bit CardBus PC cards (such as IEEE1394 and USB2.0 adapter, 3G wireless modem card, Panasonic DVCPRO P2 card, etc.).
