This PCI Express (PCIe) based ExpressCard Adapter converts CompctFlash (CF) memory card and Microdrive card into ExpressCard 54mm form factor.  It accepts Type I (3.3 mm thick) and the thicker Type II (5 mm thick) CompactFlash (CF) memory cards including Microdrive card.  Users can insert this CF-to-ExpressCard memory card adapter into an ExpressCard/54 slot of a digital electronic device such as desktop or laptop computer, card reader, and others; to read/write photo/data/music on CompactFlash cards or Microdrives. Great companion product for digital SLR (DSLR) cameras. This memory card adapter works with Microsoft Windows 2000/XP//Vista/7 and Mac OS X10.4 or later. NOTE: This CF to ExpressCard/54 adapter does not fit in the narrower 34 mm wide ExpressCard/34 slot which is common in MacBook. It does not fit in the PCMCIA PC Card slot (CardBus slot) either.
